About the position
As Head of Department for Project & Development – DevOps at Tusass, you will be a key player in the development of our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for leading a strong team that runs complex IT projects in close collaboration with external partners.

Primary tasks:
The tasks and responsibilities of the position are wide-ranging. Your responsibilities will include leading & developing a strong team, including ensuring well-being, growth and motivation among both project managers and coordinators. In the position, you will also run strategic IT projects from idea to implementation in close collaboration with external partners, optimize project processes to ensure an efficient delivery model, and plan and execute to ensure that the IT investments we make create value and effect. In addition, you will work closely with management, where your efforts will shape the company's IT strategy.

Your qualifications
We would like you to have experience with management or project management within the IT industry. You have a good knowledge of and experience with different project management methods. Regardless of your background, you are driven by having a leadership role, where you help motivate a team both professionally and personally.
We expect you to professionally:
- Have experience with IT project management, either from an internal role, or as a consultant.
- Have knowledge of project methods e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or similar.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with IT delivery models
- Experience with resource and budget management
- Good communication skills in Danish and English – both written and oral. If you know Greenlandic, it is an advantage.
